- Use a 5’ x 8’ rectangular rug in smaller dining areas with a table and 4 – 6 chairs.
- Designer Tip: Make sure that the edge of the dining table is a minimum of 2 feet away from the edge of your area rug.
- Use an 8’ x 10’ or 9’ x 12’ rug in larger dining areas with a table and 6 – 8 chairs.
- Designer Tip: Ensure placement allows a minimum of 18” of bare floor from the edge of the rug to any wall.

Product Description
The SAFAVIEH Braided 452 collection works a farmhouse basket-weave braid in cotton, in rust & multi, a flat reversible rug built the way braided rugs have always been made. Each piece is hand-woven at a 1/4" braid, low enough to sit under a door and firm enough to stay where it is put. Cotton spot-cleans easily and the rug can be turned over to even out wear, which is what has always given a braided rug its long life. Braided 452 suits a living room, bedroom, dining room or entryway, and the runner sizes work in a hallway.
